About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join their production facility in Benoni . You will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems according to specifications and blueprints. This role is vital in ensuring the quality and functionality of the products manufactured by our client in the industrial hub of Gauteng . The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, be adept at using tools, and possess a commitment to precision and efficiency in their work.

• Assemble mechanical parts and sub-assemblies accurately according to work instructions and blueprints.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform assembly tasks.
• Inspect work during and after assembly to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and report any defective parts or assembly issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and follow all safety protocols.
• Assist in testing and troubleshooting assembled components.

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Assembler or in a related assembly role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Skilled in the use of a variety of hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical principles.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
