A rewarding opportunity awaits a skilled Welder at NBL Coffee and Creamer in Isando
, Kempton Park
. Your role will be to ensure that all Finished Goods leaving the factory are of the best quality and are food safe.

• Reports to:
  
  Maintenance Manager - Utilities

• Fabrication of components and structures to support plant maintenance and improvement initiatives
• Welding of stainless steel and aluminium components in accordance with required standards
• Conducting general welding repairs on plant equipment and infrastructure
• Assisting with preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety, quality, and food safety standards
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
• Supporting continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives within the engineering function

• 5 or more years’ stainless-steel welding and fabrication experience (preferably in a food manufacturing environment)

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Relevant Welding Trade Test is essential
• Good knowledge of fabrication and welding techniques (Tig and Arc)
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings

• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when required
