About the Role

Our client requires a diligent Production Operator to join their field operations team in Klerksdorp . This role is essential for the day-to-day running of production facilities within the oil and gas industry . You will be responsible for monitoring equipment, ensuring safe and efficient production processes, and performing routine maintenance. • Operate and monitor production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to operating procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and safety hazards.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Respond effectively to operational upsets and emergencies, following established protocols.
• Collect and record production data, including volumes, pressures, and temperatures.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, environmental policies, and company procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification is advantageous.
• Previous experience as an operator in an industrial setting, preferably in oil and gas or a related field.
• Basic understanding of process operations and mechanical equipment.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
