About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable Machine Operator specializing in CNC operations to join their production facility in Klerksdorp. This hands-on role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. You will play a crucial part in the manufacturing process, ensuring machine efficiency, product precision, and adherence to safety protocols.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, possesses a strong understanding of CNC machining principles, and is committed to maintaining operational excellence in a production environment. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-established manufacturing company.
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling and/or turning machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate production.
- Perform quality checks on finished products using measuring instruments to verify dimensions and specifications.
- Maintain machines, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot minor operational issues.
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Record production data accurately and report any deviations or issues to supervisors.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
- Understanding of CNC programming and machine setup procedures.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic maintenance.

- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced production environment.
