Mechanical Process Engineer

Our client, a well-established player within the food manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Process Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for production line optimisation, process improvement initiatives, mechanical process design, and ensuring optimal plant performance. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact within a fast-paced manufacturing environment while working closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams.

• BEng/BSc Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification. Relevant engineering and manufacturing certifications will be advantageous. GCC Factories will be advantageous.

• 8+ years' experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in production line optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong mechanical process design experience.
• Exposure to food manufacturing or FMCG environments.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems.
• Experience with CAPEX projects, plant upgrades, and process improvements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
