Industrial Engineer - Manufacturing Efficiency

Our client is seeking a results-oriented Industrial Engineer dedicated to driving manufacturing efficiency at their facility in Klerksdorp . This role is critical in analyzing production processes, implementing improvements, and ensuring optimal output and quality. You will work hands-on with production teams, leveraging engineering principles and data analysis to streamline operations, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. The successful candidate will be passionate about continuous improvement and possess strong problem-solving skills, contributing directly to the company's manufacturing excellence and operational goals.

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new production methods and workflows to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping to optimize production lines.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for manufacturing processes.
• Monitor production performance, collect data, and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate closely with production supervisors, operators, and quality control teams to implement and sustain improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in an industrial engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in process analysis, data collection, and performance monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork on the plant floor.
