About the Role

Our client seeks a skilled Machine Setter / Operator to join their dynamic manufacturing team in Vereeniging . You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various production machines, ensuring they function efficiently and produce high-quality output according to specifications. Your expertise in machine operation and adjustment is key to maintaining production targets and ensuring the smooth running of the manufacturing lines, contributing to overall operational efficiency and product excellence.

• Set up production machinery according to job specifications and operational requirements.
• Operate machines safely and efficiently, monitoring their performance throughout production runs.
• Perform routine checks and minor adjustments to maintain machine settings and optimize output.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalation more complex problems to maintenance personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and housekeeping standards.

• Proven experience as a Machine Setter / Operator , with specific experience on relevant machinery (e.g., injection molding, CNC, packaging machines).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and machine manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
