Farm Manager

Farm Manager position available in Villiersdorp.

An exciting opportunity is available for an energetic, hardworking and passionate Farm Manager to take full responsibility for the management of a farming unit in the Villiersdorp area.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric with an agricultural qualification and/or
• At least 10 years’ experience in fruit production, preferably pome fruit.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy, including Excel.
• Experience in maintaining and implementing quality management systems such as GlobalG.A.P. and SIZA.
• Sound technical knowledge relevant to pome fruit production.
• Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving abilities.
• A hands‑on approach and genuine passion for farming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full management of all production activities associated with the farming unit.
• Planning, coordinating and monitoring fruit production operations.
• Managing and supervising employees and production teams.
• Ensuring compliance with quality, safety and agricultural standards.
• Maintaining GlobalG.A.P., SIZA and other relevant quality management systems.
• Monitoring production performance and implementing improvements where required.
• Ensuring efficient use of labour, equipment and other farming resources.
• Managing the unit independently and taking full accountability for day‑to‑day operations.
