About the Role

Our client is looking for motivated individuals to join their Welding Apprenticeship program in Benoni . This is a hands-on opportunity to develop expertise in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, under the guidance of certified welders. You will work on diverse projects, gaining practical experience in fabrication, repair, and assembly across different materials and industries. • Assist senior welders in preparing metal surfaces for welding.
• Learn and practice various welding techniques on different types of metal.
• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures and components.
• Perform basic grinding and finishing operations on welded joints.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
• Read and interpret welding symbols and blueprints.

• Minimum Grade 10, preferably with Mathematics or Technical Drawing.
• Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work safely and follow instructions meticulously.
• Strong desire to learn and develop welding skills.
• Previous exposure to metalwork is beneficial.
