Welder - Fabrication

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and certified Welder for their fabrication workshop in Vereeniging . You will be responsible for joining metal parts and structures using various welding techniques to produce high-quality components. This role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work from technical drawings. The ideal candidate is experienced in diverse welding processes and committed to producing durable, expertly crafted metalwork for a variety of projects within the manufacturing sector.

• Perform welding operations using techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Join metal components according to specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and adherence to standards.
• Prepare metal surfaces for welding, including cleaning and grinding.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure timely project completion.

• Proven experience as a Welder in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Certification in relevant welding processes (e.g., Red Seal).
• Ability to read and interpret welding symbols and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of metal properties and welding procedures.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
• Physical ability to perform the tasks required, including working in various positions.
