Overview
The role of the incumbent is to maintain the sieve room for spare stock levels, partake in sifter maintenance, sieve stretching, and general plant maintenance
Responsibilities- Spares stock control
- Sieve stretching
- Plansifter and purifier maintenance
- Liaise(cooperate) with Milling team on require men
- Conduct safety and cleanliness checks
- Maintain good housekeeping standards
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
- Adhere to safety requirement
- Assist with bin dips tasks
- Cleaning of the Mill area and help with mill chokes
- Relieve in Rework mixing and bran & bulk loading
- Will be required to do general plant maintenance
- Health and Safety Standards
- Minimum: NQF 4 or Grade 12 or similar relevant qualification [Recognition of Prior Learning [RPL] will be applied based on SETA accreditations.
- 6 months experience in the similar environment will be advantageous.
- Computer literacy will be needed.
- Forklift License will be an advantage
