Our client seeks a skilled Senior Production Chemist to enhance their operational capabilities in Vereeniging . You will be responsible for monitoring chemical treatments, troubleshooting production chemistry issues, and implementing strategies to optimize performance and minimize environmental impact.

• Analyze production fluids (oil, gas, water) to determine composition and identify potential issues.
• Develop and recommend appropriate chemical treatment programs for production operations.
• Monitor the effectiveness of chemical treatments and adjust dosages as necessary.
• Troubleshoot production chemistry challenges, such as scale, corrosion, and emulsion formation.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations regarding chemical usage and disposal.
• Collaborate with field operations and engineering teams to implement best practices in production chemistry.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related science field.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in production chemistry within the oil and gas sector.
• Proficiency in analytical techniques and laboratory instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of scale inhibitors, corrosion inhibitors, demulsifiers, and other production chemicals.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety protocols.
