Production Team Leader

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Team Leader to guide and manage a team on the factory floor in Vereeniging . This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe execution of production tasks, meeting quality standards, and fostering a positive team environment. You will be responsible for supervising daily operations, motivating team members, and ensuring that production targets are met consistently.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, and a commitment to operational excellence and team development.

• Lead, train, and motivate a team of production workers to achieve daily output goals.
• Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Monitor production equipment performance and report any issues or necessary maintenance.
• Ensure all team members understand and follow operational procedures and best practices.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, address concerns, and promote continuous improvement.
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
