About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Manufacturing Industrial Engineer to join their production team in Nelspruit . This role is dedicated to optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work hands-on with production lines, collaborating with engineers and operators to identify and implement process improvements, streamline workflows, and enhance overall plant performance.

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
• Design and implement optimized production layouts and workflows.
• Develop and implement lean manufacturing initiatives and waste reduction programs.
• Conduct time and motion studies to improve operator productivity and workstation ergonomics.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams on equipment upgrades and process changes.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing industrial engineering role.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
