Production Team Lead

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Team Lead to oversee a specific production line at their facility in Nelspruit . You will be responsible for guiding a team of production operators, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and safely, and maintaining high standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, a good understanding of production processes, and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.

You will be a key contributor to the operational success of the plant.

• Lead and supervise a team of production operators, providing guidance and support to ensure performance targets are met in Nelspruit .
• Monitor the production line, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Train new team members on production processes, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or production issues to the production supervisor.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Conduct daily team briefings and assist in performance reviews for team members.

• Proven experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with various production processes and machinery.
• Good understanding of health and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training is a plus.
