Our client is seeking a dedicated Industrial Efficiency Specialist to drive operational improvements within their facilities in Nelspruit . This role focuses on optimizing production processes, reducing operational costs, and enhancing overall productivity through the application of industrial engineering best practices. You will be instrumental in analyzing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing data-driven solutions to achieve significant gains in efficiency and output.
This is a key position for improving industrial operations in the economically active region of Mpumalanga .
- Analyze production data and workflows to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and cost savings.
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design and optimize factory layouts and material flow to enhance productivity and safety.
- Conduct work studies and time-motion analyses to establish performance standards.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of efficiency improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering or operations improvement.
- Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex operational data.
- Experience with process simulation and modeling software is advantageous.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams.
