About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer with a specialization in production systems to join their operations team in Nelspruit . This role is instrumental in designing, implementing, and continuously improving the systems and processes that drive our manufacturing output. You will be responsible for enhancing efficiency, ensuring quality, and optimizing resource utilization within our production facilities. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of manufacturing operations, and a passion for driving operational excellence on the shop floor.

- Analyze current production processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Design, develop, and implement new production systems, layouts, and workflows.
- Conduct time and motion studies, ergonomic analyses, and bottleneck assessments.
- Collaborate with production staff, supervisors, and management to implement process changes effectively.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials for production personnel.
- Monitor production performance metrics and provide regular reports on key indicators and improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering , with a focus on production systems and manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in process simulation software, CAD tools, and data analysis techniques.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams.
