About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated Industrial Engineer focused on Production Optimization to join their facility in Benoni . This role is integral to improving the efficiency, productivity, and quality of their manufacturing operations. You will analyze production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions to enhance workflow and reduce waste. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of manufacturing principles and optimization techniques.

- Analyze production lines and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Design and optimize production layouts, equipment utilization, and material flow to maximize efficiency.
- Collect and analyze production data to monitor performance, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with production staff and management to implement changes and ensure successful adoption.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs ) and training materials related to production processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an industrial engineering or manufacturing role, with a focus on production.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
- Experience with data analysis and process simulation software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
