Pharmaceutical Production Supervisor

Our client in Klerksdorp is looking for a dynamic and experienced Pharmaceutical Production Supervisor to oversee their manufacturing operations. This role involves managing a team of production operators, ensuring adherence to strict manufacturing protocols, and optimizing production efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. You will play a key part in the successful manufacturing of essential pharmaceutical products within the North West province.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity within a well-established pharmaceutical facility.

• Supervise daily production activities, ensuring all manufacturing processes are conducted in compliance with GMP and company SOPs.
• Manage, train, and motivate a team of production operators to achieve production targets and maintain high performance standards.
• Monitor production output, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement corrective and preventative actions to minimize downtime and ensure product quality.
• Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety awareness among the team.
• Maintain accurate production records, including batch manufacturing records (BMRs) and equipment logs.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Supply Chain departments to ensure seamless operations.

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Solid understanding of GMP principles and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a production team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
