Creating packaging solutions for life's essentials.

• Pack blow moulded product as per the process control document.
• Carries out the required quality inspections and completes the quality documentation accordingly.
• Ensure equipment settings are as per the parameters set for each product.
• Ensure the maintaining of food safety protocols within the assigned work area.
• Perform the required colour changes on the machine as per the shop order and process control.

• Matric (Grade 12) or recognized equivalent qualification.
• Plastics Manufacturing Qualification
• Numeracy, Literacy and technical aptitude assessment (60% pass mark)

• ±3 Years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing experience with training in OPEX.
• Maintain accurate production and process recording.
• Tracking and reducing manufacturing waste using OPEX initiatives.
• Setting and operating blow moulding machines.

• Physical strength and stamina.
• Good eye hand coordination.
• Read, understand and complete the required documentation.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures.

Safety is extremely important and the employee will be responsible for:

• Putting personal and co-worker safety first in everything that you do.
• Following all the company's safety rules and policies.
• Wearing safety equipment and PPE.
• Reporting all dangerous or unsafe behavior to the supervisor or the manager.
• Never to engage in any unsafe act.
• Maintains work flow by monitoring process control documents and adjust weights and other processing variables including leak tester and labeling machines.
• Record production outputs on visual management boards, in daily reports and shop logix.
• Facilitating corrections to malfunctions of products with the supervisor.
• Maintains quality service by enforcing company's quality standards.
• Ensures efficient operation of equipment by calling for repairs when required.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by the use of appropriate equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
