Production Line Leader

Our client, a well-established manufacturing facility in Klerksdorp, North West
, is looking for an energetic and dedicated Production Line Leader to join their operational team. This role is fundamental to ensuring the efficient and effective running of a specific production line. The Production Line Leader will supervise a team of operators, monitor production output, maintain quality standards, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a fast-paced production environment and a strong commitment to teamwork and operational excellence in Klerksdorp, North West

• Supervise and guide a team of production line operators to achieve daily production targets.
• Monitor the performance of the production line, ensuring smooth and continuous operation.
• Ensure that all products manufactured meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Implement and enforce all safety procedures and regulations on the production line.
• Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing staff.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or production issues to management promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and quality checks.
• Promote a positive and collaborative work environment within the team.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Conduct regular team briefings and performance discussions.

• Proven experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Good understanding of production processes and quality control measures.
• Familiarity with health and safety standards in a factory environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to maintain records.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Willingness to work shifts if required by the operational schedule.
• Must be based in or able to commute regularly to Klerksdorp, North West
