About the Role
Our client, a dynamic sports management agency operating across Gauteng, is seeking a creative and strategic Sports Marketing Manager. This role is instrumental in developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns for athletes, teams, and sports brands. You will be responsible for building brand awareness, driving engagement, and increasing revenue through integrated marketing strategies. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the sports industry, digital marketing, and a proven ability to connect with diverse audiences in the competitive landscape of Vereeniging and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns for clients and sponsored events.
- Manage social media presence, content creation, and digital advertising initiatives across various platforms.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, sponsors, and key industry influencers.
- Analyze market trends, campaign performance, and ROI to optimize marketing efforts.
- Organize and manage promotional events, product launches, and client activation programs.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop collateral and support lead generation efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sports marketing, brand management, or advertising.
