Public Relations Officer

Our client is seeking a diligent and proactive Public Relations Officer to support their communications efforts in Nelspruit. This role is instrumental in managing media relations, developing press materials, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across various platforms. You will assist in executing public relations strategies, responding to media inquiries, and monitoring media coverage. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses strong writing skills, and has a keen understanding of public relations principles, eager to contribute to building and maintaining a positive public image for the organization within the region.

• Assist in the development and implementation of public relations strategies.
• Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials.
• Respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on public relations activities and their impact.
• Support the planning and execution of media events and press conferences.
• Maintain and update media contact lists and databases.

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related role.
