About the Role
Our client, a prominent player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking a creative and organized Promotions Coordinator to assist in the planning and execution of marketing and sales promotions across various retail channels in the Nelspruit region. This hybrid role will involve coordinating promotional activities, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring the seamless implementation of campaigns designed to boost brand visibility and drive sales.
You will be an integral part of the marketing team, contributing to the success of our popular consumer products.
- Assist in the development and execution of promotional strategies and campaigns.
- Coordinate with sales teams, retailers, and third-party vendors for promotional material deployment.
- Manage the logistics of promotional events, including stock allocation and point-of-sale display setup.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of promotions, gathering data on sales lift and ROI.
- Maintain promotional calendars and ensure timely delivery of all campaign elements.
- Support the marketing team with ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks related to promotions.
- Experience in marketing coordination, event planning, or a similar role, preferably in FMCG .
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective stakeholder liaison.
- Familiarity with promotional mechanics and retail environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model, blending office-based collaboration with remote task management.
