About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and strategic Senior Content Marketing Specialist to join their marketing team in Nelspruit. You will play a key role in developing and executing content marketing strategies that attract, engage, and retain target audiences. This position requires a blend of content creation expertise, strategic thinking, and a data-driven approach to measure content effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with product marketing, sales, and digital teams to ensure content is aligned with business objectives and brand messaging, fostering a culture of compelling storytelling and measurable marketing impact within the Nelspruit region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with overall marketing goals and business objectives.
- Create high-quality, engaging, and relevant content across various formats, including blog posts, articles, white papers, case studies, infographics, and social media updates.
- Conduct audience research and competitive analysis to identify content opportunities and trends.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic visibility and drive traffic.
- Manage content calendars, editorial workflows, and distribution channels.
- Analyze content performance metrics and provide insights to refine strategy and improve engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in content marketing or related roles, with a strong portfolio of published work.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive measurable results.
- Experience with SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools is a plus.
