Project Manager - Community Development

About the Role

Our client, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to driving positive change, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead impactful community development initiatives in Klerksdorp . This vital role involves overseeing projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet their objectives, timelines, and budgets. You will be responsible for stakeholder engagement, resource allocation, and team leadership, working directly with local communities to implement sustainable solutions.

• Develop project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timelines.
• Manage project execution, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and lead project teams, assigning tasks and ensuring effective collaboration.
• Engage with community stakeholders, local government, and partner organizations to foster strong relationships and support.
• Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, reporting on status and outcomes.

• Proven track record of successfully managing projects, preferably within the non-profit or community development sector .
• Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public administration, social sciences, or project management.
