About the Role
Our client, a reputable non-profit organization in Nelspruit , is seeking a meticulous and experienced Grant Manager . This role is critical for securing and managing the funding necessary to support the organization's impactful work throughout Mpumalanga. You will be responsible for researching grant opportunities, writing compelling proposals, and ensuring compliance with all grant requirements and reporting obligations. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to sustainable funding for vital community programs, working within a dedicated team committed to making a difference in Mpumalanga .
Key Responsibilities- Research potential grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and corporate funders relevant to the organization's mission in Mpumalanga .
- Develop, write, and edit high-quality grant proposals, applications, and reports.
- Manage the grant application process from identification through submission and follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with all grant guidelines, reporting requirements, and deadlines.
- Maintain a grants calendar and database of funding prospects and awarded grants.
- Build and maintain relationships with foundation program officers and relevant funding contacts.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant writing, grant management, or development, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Proven ability to research funding opportunities and write successful grant proposals.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of grant cycles, reporting requirements, and compliance standards.
- Experience with grant management software or databases is an advantage.
