About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Grant Writer and Development Associate to join their team in Nelspruit . You will be responsible for researching funding opportunities, writing compelling grant proposals, and assisting with other development activities. • Research potential funding sources, including foundations, corporations, and government grants.
• Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals, applications, and reports.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with grant program officers and foundation staff.
• Assist in the preparation of fundraising materials, including appeals, newsletters, and brochures.
• Manage the grant submission calendar and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Track grant outcomes and prepare reports on grant utilization and impact.

• Proven experience in grant writing and non-profit development, with a strong portfolio of successful proposals.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong research abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with the Nelspruit area and its community needs is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field.
