Program Manager - Community Development

Our client seeks an experienced and strategic Program Manager to oversee community development initiatives in Welkom . This leadership role is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs designed to uplift and empower the local community. You will work closely with community stakeholders, government agencies, and partner organizations to ensure our programs are impactful, sustainable, and meet the evolving needs of the residents.

This is a critical position for someone passionate about driving positive social change and possess strong project management skills within the Free State region.

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of community development programs.
• Develop program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with community leaders, NGOs, and government entities.
• Conduct needs assessments and program evaluations to measure impact and identify areas for enhancement.
• Supervise program staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in community development or the non-profit sector .
• Strong understanding of program design, monitoring, and evaluation methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities.
