Responsibilities
- Clinical competence and strong quality patient care orientation
- High energy levels and tolerance for stress
- Good work management, planning and organizing skills
- Problem analysis/solving skills and accurate record keeping
- Adaptable and able to work effectively within a team
- Detail oriented especially with regards to stock control
- Liaison between patients, doctors and personnel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
- Shift work compulsory
- Work overtime when required
- Current Registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse
- A minimum requirement of an R425 Qualification or a Post Basic Diploma in Psychiatric or Mental Health Nursing
- Minimum 2-3 years’ post qualification experience
- Previous experience in a Life Skills or Mental Health Facility would be advantageous
