The PACU at ... 365 days a year. As SCN/SCODP you are responsible for the development and operational management of approx 46 WTE specialist PACU nurses across a continuum of beginner to proficient. You will have the support of our Theatre Academy and senior perioperative practitioner team.
We are seeking a clinically experienced nurse or ODP in PACU, Anaesthetics and/or Critical Care who can lead the service into the future through organisational change and service improvement.
Applicants with a dynamic, enthusiastic approach, combined with a passion for learning should apply. We value applicants who hold a portfolio of periop experience across the continuum of recovery and anaesthetics who can evidence extensive leadership experience, with a wide range of managerial skills and have a proven record of good attendance. Leadership and coaching skills will be an asset to succeed in this role.
Valid UK NMC/HCPC Registration is essential.
There will be a requirement to participate in out of hours on-call for emergency surgery.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
