Our client is seeking a dedicated Community Health Nurse to join their team serving the Nelspruit area. In this vital role, you will focus on promoting health, preventing disease, and addressing the health needs of individuals and families within the community. You will conduct health screenings, provide education on health and wellness, administer immunizations, and connect clients with appropriate healthcare services.

- Conduct health assessments, screenings, and diagnostic tests for individuals and families in community settings.
- Provide health education and counseling on topics such as nutrition, chronic disease management, family planning, and hygiene.
- Administer immunizations and assist with health promotion campaigns and disease prevention programs.
- Identify health risks within the community and develop strategies to address them.
- Liaise with local clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and referrals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records, adhering to all privacy regulations.
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid South African nursing license.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in community health nursing or public health.
- Strong knowledge of public health principles, disease prevention, and health promotion strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the community.
