• Matric (Grade 12) certificate.

• FGASA Level 2 or higher qualification.

• First Aid Level 2 (minimum requirement).

• Certified in the handling and use of manually operated rifle, shotgun, and carbine for business purposes (SAQA XXX-XXXX).

• NDT registered.

• Lead Trails Guide qualification.

• Valid Advanced Rifle Handling qualification (essential).

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in “Big 5” African safari guiding.

• At least 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Head Ranger or Head Ranger (essential).

• Excellent command of the English language (reading, writing, and speaking).

• Valid driver’s licence with PrDP.

• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet use).
