Engineering Technician; Mechanical; Pharmaceutical Industry

Position: Engineering Technician (Mechanical) (Pharmaceutical Industry)
Location: Germiston

SA - Gauteng, Germiston Engineering Technician (mechanical) (Pharmaceutical Industry)
R23k – R30k basic a month. (Benefits once perm)
Based in Germiston
Minimum requirements:
Will be based in the maintenance department
Must be Qualified - Trade tested Fitter and Turner

Pharmaceutical industry experience on Manufacturing equipment:
- Tablet compression machines (essential)
- Encapsulation machines(essential)
- Coating machines and
- Granulation equipment

Pharmaceutical industry experience on Packaging equipment:
- Rotary fillers (essential but not necessarily pharmaceutical experience required)
- Piston Fillers (essential but not necessarily pharmaceutical experience required)
- Sachet fillers
- Blister machines (Rotary and flatbed type)
- Labellers and
- Cartoners

Will initially be a 3 month fixed term probationary contract after which it may become a permanent contract if the candidate is successful. This is however a vacancy for a permanent position.

This individual will need to work shifts. Monday – Thursday 8h00-16h30 and Friday 8h00 – 15h30. Shift allowance is paid.
Night shift is Monday to Thursday 18h00-06h00. (Alternate one week day, one week night.)
