- Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations
- Conduct routine quality checks on products, including taste, texture, appearance, and temperature
- Perform sampling and testing of products throughout production stages
- Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation practices are followed in the facility
- Identify and report non-conforming products or processes
- Implement and follow corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Verify packaging and labelling accuracy, including ingredient lists and expiry dates
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality reports
- Assist in internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness
- Train and support staff on quality control procedures and food safety standards
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
