SHEQ MANAGER

Location: Brakpan

The SHEQ Managers’ primary responsibilities, in priority, are to develop, implement, maintain and sustain the systems, quality, FSC, food safety, safety, health and environmental functions to the required standards, company policies, procedures, compliance to legal, statutory and customer requirements, compliance to environmental requirements and to ensure safe working conditions.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Implement and maintain Systems, e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Food Safety, FSSC
o quality, food safety, safety, health, environment systems to the required standards, company policies,
procedures
o compliance to legal and statutory requirements
o meet customer requirements
- All internal and external Audits, Accreditations, findings and closure management
o Customers
o Suppliers
- Quality
o Quality Control & Assurance
o Quality Laboratory
o Non-Conformances & Complaints Resolution
o Quality Review
o Customer visits
- Safety
o Incident investigation and management
o Implement Group Safety Plan
o Risk assessments
- Health
o Clinic Management and attending to all queries related to Health
- Environment
o Impact register
o Permits
o Monitoring of all variables
- Contractor management
- SHEQ projects initiation and management thereof
- Analysis and Reporting
- Management Review of accredited systems
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Quality, Food Safety related tertiary qualification
- Engineering qualification will be beneficial
- 5 - 10 years of experience in
o systems development, implementation and maintenance across multi-site plants
o Experience in managing multi-site preferable
o Experience n managing multiple quality labs
o Experience in managing employees at all levels
o Experience in dealing with DoL and all other relevant governmental departments
o FMCG, packaging environment (preferable)

- Experience with risk assessment
- Good of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) knowledg
