Junior Qc Supervisor – Citrus – Burgersfort

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To oversee and maintain product quality throughout the packhouse process, ensuring compliance with market specifications, regulatory standards, and internal quality procedures. This role supports operations by monitoring fruit quality from intake to final output, guiding the QC team, and ensuring accurate reporting, effective communication, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

• Grade 12 with a relevant qualification
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Citrus/agriculture experience advantageous

• Monitor overall fruit quality from intake to final line, ensuring accurate QC reporting
• Support QC team with planning, troubleshooting, and issue escalation
• Manage stock of QC equipment and chemicals to avoid testing delays

• Ensure adherence to quality, compliance, and safety procedures

• Report quality concerns to the QC Manager
• Ensure efficient inspections and provide timely feedback to teams and growers

• Perform additional duties as required
• Support off-season tasks as needed
