Quality Inspector (2 Positions)

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position:

SUN JV (a joint venture among SINOHYDRO BUREAU 8 CO., LTD, SINOHYDRO BUREAU 14 CO., LTD., UNIK CIVIL ENGINEERING PTY LTD., and NTHANE BROTHERS PTY LTD.) is the Contractor for the Construction of Polihali Dam and Appurtenant Works for the Lesotho Highlands Water Project – Phase II.

SUN JV is constructing a concrete‑faced rockfill dam at Polihali, approximately 1 km downstream of the confluence of the Khubelu and Senqu Rivers, and a Saddle Dam.

Working hours:

08:00–12:00 and 14:00–17:00, Monday to Friday.

Location:

Pope John Paul Road, Katlehong, near Maseru Mall, Katlehong South Gate Complex, Block D, Maseru.

• Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Sound knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), material inspections, concrete quality control, earthworks, and structural works.
• Experience in conducting inspections, witnessing tests, identifying and reporting non‑conformances (NCRs), maintaining quality records, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements.
• Previous experience on civil engineering projects within the last five (5) years will be an added advantage.
• Applicants must also include three (3) work‑related reference letters with contact details of referees, one of whom must be a current or previous supervisor/employer.
