Job Purpose

The Manager:
Quality Assurance is responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining quality assurance, food safety and continuous improvement systems to ensure products consistently meet customer, regulatory and Premier FMCG requirements

Key Responsibilities

• To prepare and implement the Premier FMCG and site QC strategy and QC plans.

• Leading site QA team towards world class quality standards.

• Provide guidance and assistance to the site HOD's in relevant QC issues.

• Monitor the QC Performance for the site.

• Review, challenge and approve QC plans and procedures.

• Maintain the HACCP, ISO 22000 system.

• Provide adequate management information, based on consolidated reporting.

Experience And Qualifications

To perform effectively in this role, the following minimum qualifications and work experience are required:

• Diploma in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry or similar tertiary qualification.

• 5-7 years' industry experience in the bakery and/or milling environment including food safety and quality control

• 2-3 years' experience in a managerial position
