The Quality Assurance Manager (Teaching and Learning) is responsible for assisting the Director Quality Assurance to lead the Institutional Effectiveness and quality management systems for LP. The incumbent collaborates with Schools’ Academic Teams to plan, capture, and record the information requirements for teaching and learning activities for continuous improvement. He/She develops and maintains institution-wide quality assurance data that aligns with the LP institutional effectiveness framework and strategic initiatives.

• Works collaboratively with the Quality Assurance Manager – Accreditation, Institutional Research and Planning to analyse and identify data requirements for quality improvement, institutional effectiveness, and planning.
• Continuously improves and maintains systems that monitor performance and institutional effectiveness in teaching and learning.
• Monitors policy and procedures alignment with the LP quality assurance framework.
• Contributes to the development and implementation of institution-wide academic quality assurance processes and accountability measures that are aligned with international best practices and LP strategic initiatives.
• Provides mechanisms for the collection, analysis, and dissemination of quality improvement data relating to students’ and graduates’ experiences of modules and programmes and graduate preparedness for employment.
• Coordinates and facilitates the collection, processing, and reporting of QA data for the LP Quality Improvement System that leads to the enhancement of quality improvement processes.
• Monitors and reports on LP and Faculty/Schools Academic Teams’ performance related to quality teaching and learning.
• Facilitates and coordinates the sharing of QA best practices and supports institution-wide benchmarking against best practice standards in order to continuously improve the delivery of programmes and support services.
• Contributes to the development of LP by monitoring programmes and identifying areas for improvement; by observing and implementing institution and system-wide policies and procedures; and by participating in extracurricular activities and community events.
• Attends meetings, workshops, and conferences as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Director Quality Assurance.

• Master’s Degree in Education Management or Curriculum.
• A qualification in Quality Assurance in higher education and/or Monitoring and Evaluation will be an added advantage.
• At least 3 years’ working experience in quality assurance, preferable in monitoring and evaluation of teaching and learning.

• Sound knowledge of higher education policies related to teaching and learning, academic planning, and quality assurance.
• Proven ability to facilitate academic planning in a higher education environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Report-writing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data.
• Extensive knowledge of Quality Assurance and Accreditation processes.
• Advanced computer literacy, including spreadsheet and database applications.
• Managerial and supervisory skills.
• Problem-solving, decision-making, critical, and analytical abilities.
