About The Role
The QCP Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, maintaining, monitoring, and administering Quality Control Plans (QCP's) and reviewing Quality Control Plans (QCP's) to ensure alignment with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards. The QCP Coordinator acts as a central point of coordination between the originator, QSHE, Engineering, SME, Operations, and Inspection Personnel.
Key ResponsibilitiesIncluding, but not limited to:
QCP Development and Control:- Develop, review, coordinate, maintain and validate Quality Control Plans (QCP's) for compliance with project specifications and client requirements
- Ensure alignment between QCP's and Inspection &Manufacturing Drawings and specifications
- Verify inclusion of:
Inspection points (Hold, Witness, Review).
Acceptance Criteria.
Applicable Standards and Codes.
Required documentation and records.
- Coordinate with QSHE, Engineering, SME, Operations, and Inspection Personnel to resolve issues.
- Approve or recommend revisions to QCP's before implementation.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or non-conformances in QCP's.
- Ensure all documents comply with internal procedures and international standards.
- Maintain revision control and document tracking systems.
- Support audits by providing accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Assist in developing quality procedures and documentation frameworks.
- Fully compliant and approved QCP's.
- Audit-ready documentation.
- Improved process consistency and quality compliance.
- Compliance with project specifications and standards (API, ASME, ISO).
- Traceability of processes for audits and inspections
- Reduction of errors and rework
- 3–5 years of experience in QSHE, Manufacturing, Inspection or Document Control in the Oil & Gas or Heavy Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of the below will be advantageous:
- QCP's and quality documentation
- Inspection and manufacturing processes
- Industry standards (API, ASME, ISO).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
