FMCG Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented FMCG Quality Assurance Manager to oversee quality control and assurance processes at their facility near Klerksdorp . This critical role ensures that all products manufactured meet rigorous quality, safety, and regulatory standards, safeguarding the company's reputation and consumer trust in the competitive FMCG market. You will lead a team of QA professionals, implement robust quality management systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Quality Management Systems (QMS) , including HACCP, ISO, and GMP standards.
• Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance team, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to all quality protocols.
• Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee product testing, specification adherence, and release processes to ensure product integrity.
• Manage supplier quality programs and ensure compliance with raw material specifications.
• Investigate customer complaints and quality incidents, implementing effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and regulatory affairs to ensure seamless quality integration across all operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance , with a significant portion in the FMCG industry.
• Proven expertise in developing and implementing QMS, including HACCP, GMP, and relevant ISO certifications.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive performance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and audit procedures.
