Flexo Line Products (Pty) Ltd is a plastic injection moulding company based in Atlantis, Cape Town. We manufacture a wide range of plastic products, including spice closures, educational toys, household storage items, domestic products, hardware goods, and plumbing components.
About the RoleThe Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all products produced meet the company's quality control standards. This is a full-time on-site role located in Atlantis Cape Town, and will involve coordinating with production and quality teams on a daily basis, creating and implementing quality control procedures, reviewing product specifications, conducting regular quality audits and ensuring adherence to Product Specifications.
The Quality Assurance Manager will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing quality initiatives.
This is a hands-on role and will suit someone who is comfortable working on the factory floor, managing people, solving problems and taking ownership of the overall operation.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, BSc or related field
- 3+ Years Experience in GFSI recognized certification (FSSC, BRC etc)
- Ability to develop and implement quality control procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in conducting internal quality audits
- Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and departments
- Excellent written (report writing) and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge or experience in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practices would be advantageous
- Experience in the plastic injection moulding industry would be advantageous
