About the Role

Our client seeks a diligent Quality Control Analyst to join their pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Rustenburg . This role is integral to ensuring the consistent quality and safety of all manufactured pharmaceutical products. You will perform a variety of laboratory tests and analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods, meticulously documenting all findings. Your keen attention to detail and commitment to upholding the highest quality standards will directly impact the efficacy and safety of medications reaching patients, contributing to the company's reputation for excellence in pharmaceutical manufacturing within the North West province.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine laboratory tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products using established methods and instrumentation.
  • Analyze test results, compare them to established specifications, and report any deviations or out-of-specification results.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure proper calibration, and adhere to all safety and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
  • Accurately document all testing procedures, results, and observations in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems.
  • Participate in method validation and verification activities as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality Control or analytical laboratory setting within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and titration.
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
