Our client is seeking an experienced Quality & Technical Manager (Fruit) to join the Kirkwood facility

• Responsible for monitoring and managing all aspects of fruit quality in the operationalchain from picking at the optimum time to packing and arriving in the markets
• Conductfruit quality inspections on farms and in packhouses during the season toensure that the fruit packed is according to export and client standards.
• Growerinteraction and feedback on quality delivered and packed.
• Growercommunication on a weekly basis for picking planning.
• Weeklyestimates feedback for picking and packing discussed with marketing team.
• Assistinggrowers with audits, registrations, and verifications, orchard inspections andall other market access requirements.
• Overseasclient interaction on all arrivals and due diligence for specific market and supermarkets
• QCcapturing, claim values and marine insurance claims.
• Assist withday-to-day operational responsibilities.
• Assist withoff season ad hoc responsibilities.

• Relevant 3years tertiary qualification – university degree or diploma
• 3-5 years’experience in packhouse, grower and or marketing company will be highly advantageous.
• Fruit QC experience will be an advantage.
