Industrial Engineer - Quality and Efficiency

Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to join their team in Nelspruit , with a hybrid work arrangement, focusing on enhancing both quality and efficiency in their production operations. This role is instrumental in analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that elevate product standards while streamlining workflows. You will work closely with production, quality assurance, and management teams to ensure operational excellence and achieve key business objectives.

• Analyze production processes to identify root causes of quality defects and inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance both quality and productivity.
• Establish and monitor quality control standards and procedures throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
• Design and optimize work methods, tool utilization, and facility layouts to improve operational flow and reduce cycle times.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Train production staff on new processes and quality standards to ensure consistent application.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering with a strong focus on quality improvement and process efficiency .
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and methodologies (certification preferred).
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
