Quality Assurance Manager - Pharmaceuticals

Our client is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager to lead their quality operations within the pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Klerksdorp . This critical role involves overseeing all aspects of the quality management system, ensuring adherence to stringent regulatory standards and driving continuous improvement in product quality and safety. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other relevant pharmaceutical regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of pharmaceutical quality systems, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards in a hands-on operational environment.

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including GMP, FDA, and other health authority standards.
• Oversee internal and external audits, manage regulatory inspections, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead the QA team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Review and approve batch records, validation protocols, and change control documents.
• Investigate deviations, customer complaints, and product recalls, implementing preventative measures.

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• In-depth knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience with quality systems, audits, CAPA, and change control.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
