Senior Industrial Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturer of specialized industrial components, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga . • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Define and implement quality control procedures for raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
• Conduct regular quality audits of internal processes and supplier performance.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor and improve production quality.
• Lead root cause analysis for quality deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Develop and deliver quality training programs to production and quality personnel.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement improvements.
• Manage customer feedback and complaints related to product quality.
• Oversee inspection and testing protocols and equipment calibration.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control roles within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and relevant standards.
• Strong expertise in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and CAPA methodologies.
• Experience with various inspection techniques and measurement equipment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage projects.
• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification is a significant advantage.
• Must be eligible to work in Nelspruit .
