LRChief Biomedical Scientist - Clinical Biochemistry Special Chemistry

Role Summary

The Department of Clinical Biochemistry, ARI has a vacancy for a full‑time Chief Biomedical Scientist, Band 8a. The successful applicant will act as Chief Biomedical Scientist with responsibility for day‑to‑day operational issues within the Special Chemistry section of the department.

The successful applicant must be motivated and enthusiastic, with good leadership qualities and the ability to demonstrate current continuing professional development. They will possess good organisational and practical abilities supported by scientific knowledge, well‑developed interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to support individual and team working.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Biomedical Scientists who have HCPC registration and extensive experience within a Clinical Biochemistry department. The applicant will hold an Honours

B.Sc. and a higher degree (M.Sc./Higher Specialist Diploma or FIBMS).
