Agricultural Technician
White River
R20 000 CTC - R28 000 CTC
Our client in the Macadamia sector is looking for a Research Technician to join their team in White River area.
Minimum requirements:
- BSc:
Agriculture (Horticulture, Agronomy, Entomology or Crop Science) - Research experience
- Assist in the collection of soil, plant, and water samples for analysis
- Conduct laboratory tests and experiments to support research projects
- Monitor and document the growth and development of crop plants
- Prepare and maintain research plots in fields, greenhouses, or growth chambers
- Operate and maintain agricultural research equipment and instruments
- Record and organize data for analysis and reporting
- Assist in the application of fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments
- Collaborate with scientists and researchers to implement research protocols
- Provide support in the preparation of research reports and publications
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during experiments
- Participate in meetings and briefings to discuss ongoing research projects
- Valid driver's license
- Own transport
